This was a very interesting video discussing the use of buying likes and advertising on Facebook. It talks about the value of a Facebook like for promotion purposes, and the negative effects of having "fake likes" on a page. Essentially what this concludes is that advertising on Facebook is a waste of money. Promotion leads to click farms liking advertisements and lower engagement on marketed pages.
